quarterly grants

The Quarterly Grants Program supports specific artistic and administrative development in two separate categories:

• Organization grants for arts groups and programs not eligible for annual grants
  
• Individual Artist Grants
  
  

Projects that promote excellence in an arts discipline and make excellence accessible for general community-wide audiences are encouraged. Quarterly project grants are awarded to help pay actual project costs and must be matched at least 1:1 by the applicant. Ordinary living expenses or organization overhead costs cannot be supported with grant funds.

Project deadlines for quarterly grants are:
November 15 for projects Jan – Jun 2013
February 15 for projects Apr – Jun 2013
May 15 for projects Jul 2013 – Jun 2014
Aug 15 for projects Nov 2013 – Jun 2014

The Quarterly Grants program is a Sub-Grant Program of the South Carolina Arts Commission and is also funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Carolina community Foundation and contributors to The Arts Fund of the Cultural Council.
